Stop By Celebrity Cruises’ Great Wine Festival

How to Read A Wine LabelCelebrity Cruises is well-known for its outstanding wine options at sea, but now the luxury cruise line is also making a culinary footprint on land.

On May 31, Celebrity Cruises will host its annual Great Wine Festival at Great Park in Irvine, Calif. The fest, now in its fourth year, will feature unlimited tastes from over 40 premium wineries, craft breweries, and spirits companies, including Cakebread, Jordan, JUSTIN, Grgich Hills, Freemark Abbey, St. Francis, Louis-Jadot, Zaca Mesa, Kendall Jackson, Round Pond, Mazzocco, Wente, Benziger, Malibu Rocky Oaks, Alaskan Brewing Company, Pyramid Brewing, and more.

Award-winning restaurants serving up samples for the day include Slapfish, Zimzala, Clay Oven, Maro Wood Grill, Bluewater Grill, Riptide, James Republic  and more. And last but hardly least, Celebrity’s In-house Sommelierand Beverage Development Expert Chanelle Duarte and our VP of F&B operations/Executive Chef John Suley will also be in attendance to show off Celebrity’s own mouth-watering,  onboard cuisine.

Food and wine connoisseurs need not feel guilty about indulging. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Legal Aid Society of Orange County (LASOC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides free and low-cost legal services to individuals of Southern California who might otherwise be denied access to justice.

Early-bird tickets are $75 per person if purchased by April 30, 2014. Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club members are eligible for a 20% discount on tickets ($60) if purchased by April 30, 2014. Discounted tickets are also available for government and non-profit workers, as well as sitting judges. Tickets can be purchased online at Celebrity Cruises Great Wine Festival .
